Mclean Traditional is noteworthy as the design evolved as a partnership between our office and the client. We selected building materials that the client requested, weaving them into a design that met our goals. These goals included integrating an outdoor fireplace into the terrace design, designing a steel trellis that defines the edges of the seating and dining terraces, and blending more formal, defined garden beds with soft flowing, gardens that evolve throughout the year. This garden received design awards and has been featured in several magazines.
