Working closely with the architect and interior design team, we imagined an entirely new landscape for this 1920’s bungalow in Arlington, VA. New built elements include a limestone front entry walk and back terrace, concrete bands outlining walks and planting beds, gravel mulched perennial beds, and a new permeable driveway. Extensive plantings throughout the property are both decorative and life-giving, acting as pollinators for many insect species that in turn provide food for native bird species. Several publications such as This Old House and Home and Design have featured this property.
