Sometimes you get to work with the architect from the beginning of the design. Such collaboration leads to an even more interesting and cohesive design, one that starts and continues a conversation between house and landscape. The design process within our office is also a collaborative effort; each member of the design team works and supports one another to realize a fully developed landscape design. This garden exemplifies cooperation and teamwork. Without the long entry drive lined with summer flowering hydrangea and Zelkova trees, or the large cobblestone forecourt, the home would begin at the front door, and not, as with this home, when you turn off of the road and into the property.
